In 2016, Jami Swain joined The City Mission as our HR Manager with over 13 years of professional nonprofit human resources experience. Today, she serves as the Director of Human Resources and Employee Development, and is responsible for performing, improving upon and overseeing the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.
Jami is passionate about organizational management, organization behavior, employee morale and performance as well as employee training and development. As a strategic-thinker, she loves working for The City Mission – a place where she can use her gifts in human resources to serve Christ.
Jami is a Society of Human Resources Certified Professional – (SHRM CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL) (SHRM-CP), and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Concentration of Human Resources from Walsh University.
