On March 1st, an intense wind blew part of the Laura’s Home roof off of the building, causing damage to the building and to some of the rooms on our fourth floor. The women and children inside at the time were not hurt, but were evacuated from the rooms they called home during their time at Laura’s Home.
We asked for help with Laura’s Home’s damaged roof, and you answered in an incredible way. In just 100 hours, our community met our $10,000 goal, and we cannot express our gratitude enough. This money will be used to cover the deductible for roof repairs, plus any other extra care costs that will help the families and individuals get back to healing. Money raised over the campaign goal will be used for everyday costs like providing food, shelter, counseling, job training, and much more. Thanks again for your generosity toward Cleveland’s hurting and homeless. May God bless you for your kindness.
